Summary:

In Keeper of The Lost Cities, we meet Sophie Foster, a girl living with humans. One day, on a field trip for Sophie's school, a boy called Fitz claims that he is an elf and tells Sophie to follow him. Sophie learns that she is an elf too and lives in a world  of magic. Elves and ogres and goblins and dwarves and trolls and gnomes are real. Elves have special powers, like levitation and telekinesis. But elves also have abilities, like a pyrokinetic, who can start fires with a flick of the wrist.

What I liked and didn’t like:

I liked the amount of characters that were in the 9 books, and the fact that there were 9 books. I liked that Sophie and her friends were a bit rebellious toward the council. I thought that their abilities were cool, as well as their skills. I also liked that there were so many abilities, and that there were so many bad guys.

What It Reminded Me Of:

Keeper of the Lost Cities reminded me of Percy Jackson because of different people having different powers. In Percy Jackson, sons of Poseidon can control water, but in Keeper of the Lost Cities, Hydrokinetics can control water. It also reminded me of Heroes of Olympus because of normal humans not being able to see the magic. Another thing it reminded me of is Harry potter because of the overall magic, like the specific powers.
