Summary:
In Project Hail Mary, the sun's light is getting dimmer. Astronaut Ryland Grace wakes up on a spaceship in another solar system with no memories of his name or how he got there. As he starts to remember things, Grace realizes he is on a last minute attempt to save humanity from aliens called Astrophage. He came in a crew of three but the other two died, so he has to save humanity alone.
What I liked and didn’t like:
I loved that the book was relatively long and I was sad when I finished because the book was so good. I also loved that the book was so full of surprises because I was always excited to keep reading. While I thought the ending was good, I didn’t like the position the character was in.
What it reminded me of:
Project Hail Mary reminded me of The Martian because he had to survive in space on his own and they both rely heavily on science to survive. It also reminds me of Explorer Academy because of the problem solving and they almost die a LOT.
